So far,there are 4 broadband providers in Malaysia which is Streamyx,DiGi,Maxis and Celcom.. Have you guy ever heard of DiGi Broadband? May be YES but it is last few years right?? The line is using EDGE technology. But now,the newest one is using HSPA.. The speed might up to 14.4Mbps.. I personally think that,it is hard to reach that speed although in their specific areas due to some obstructions..


Lets talk about their packages with different prices.. The cheapest will be RM58 while the most expensive one will be RM188..










For 'Discover Plan', the monthly fee is only RM58,this is quite affordable for the users who seldom online because the usage volume is limited at 3GB.. After the usage of 3GB,you will be charge 0.15$/10MB(Max RM138).. Although the download speed is 700Kbps while the upload speed is 200Kbps,the salesman told me the speed may vary in different areas.. Most of the time,the speed will be faster as shown in the table..

The only different between 'Discover Plan' and 'Explore plan' is the usage volume.. The usage volume for 'Explore plan' is 10GB.. This plan is specially for those who like to online but not to download too much as the usage volume is limited.. But you may continue use it after the usage volume with the charge of 0.05$/10MB(max RM138)..

'Extreme plan' is designated for those online a lot and download a lot.. Yet it is not for massive download users.. The only thing is the price(RM188) offered is not that attractive.. Download speed and the upload speed are quite fast actually..








For those who interested in this broadband should sign up for the packages now onward as DiGi is making promotion..
